Gait Analysis of Subjects with Down Syndrome

Individuals with Down syndrome use a different motor gait strategy than healthy people. This project aimed at analyzing plane walking differences between two groups of normally developed subjects and subjects with Down syndrome in terms of the generated mechanical power and work in the the lower limb joints.

Objective

Investigate mechanical energy exchange, and mechanical work and power generated or absorbed at the lower limbs joints in young adults with Down syndrome
