Monitoring of heart activity using noninvasive measurements of heart-induced vibrations on the chest surface

Bio at the time of joining the lab. Muneebah Umar is majoring in biological sciences with a pre-medicine concentration. She is enrolled in the Shackouls Honors College and is a recipient of the Ottilie Schillig Leadership Presidential Endowed Scholarship. She is a member of Student Association and Aspiring Young Minorities in Healthcare. Her research interests include cardiovascular disease (CVD) and medical anthropology. In the future, she hopes to become a physician and improve healthcare quality, especially among marginalized communities.
